The Brief
Create a more considered, editorial-style email that moves beyond price-led travel marketing.
The focus was on presenting Hotel Josef as a design-led destination, not just another city break, without losing clarity on the offer.

The Approach

Stripped everything back to let the space, materials, and architecture lead. Clean layouts and restrained typography create a calm, deliberate pace throughout, mirroring the hotel’s aesthetic.
Content was structured more like a magazine feature than a traditional email, shifting the emphasis from selling to storytelling.

The Outcome

Delivered a more premium, brand-led piece that stood apart from typical travel emails.
The campaign achieved a 59% open rate, showing that a more considered approach can drive stronger engagement without relying on heavy promotional tactics.
