The Brief
Create a character-led illustration that could extend beyond a single graphic into a broader, usable concept across multiple applications.

The Approach
The focus was on building a simple, repeatable astronaut character. Stripped back in detail but strong in shape, allowing it to work across both standalone compositions and repeat patterns.

From there, the idea was tested across different formats, including prints, textiles, and product mockups. Colour and layout were used to shift the feel while keeping the core character consistent.

The Outcome
A flexible illustration system that works across multiple applications. The character translates cleanly from single graphics into patterns and products, maintaining a consistent identity.

The result is a simple idea, applied in a way that can scale commercially without losing clarity.
